I earned the rank of Eagle Scout in 1986, and loved every moment of it. Prior to State Farm, I was involved in the Entertainment business. There I trained and learned to market and build relationships with County, City, Court houses and local Law Enforcement.

I started my Agency Journey in April of 2000 as a team member. My mentor groomed me to become and agent. With some time and effort, I successfully opened the Matthew Hawkins State Farm Agency April 1st, 2005.
